  Changes to my Study Programme Jorge Cáceres V. Sound Engineering is an interesting career and I like it so much, because of how it is distributed. If we are talking about Sound Engineering we have to keep in my mind two sides of it, the engineering part that considers math, physics, and science, and the other one is the artistic side, where we can find music, ear practice, piano lessons, and etcetera. So, as you would notice there are too many different things to learn. For the same reason I believe that the curriculum of the career could be better distributed. Sound Engineering at Universidad de Chile has two mentions, one of them is about Sound Systems, and the second one is Sound Design and Production. In my opinion these mentions could be separated, and each of them have their own subjects, so in this way you would study for the one that u specifically prefer, and maybe the years of the career would be shorter. Time Travel to The Future

  Time Travel to The Future Jorge Cáceres V. First of all I would like to clarify that I don’t like the idea of time travel, but if I had to do it I prefer to travel to the future, because I feel like going back to the past is not something that benefits yourself, In my opinion things that were done, are done and if they were bad moments it doesn’t matter because those past situation in your life gives you experience to confront your future, and even your present. Okay, so talking about the time travel to the future itself, I would travel to five years in the future to check various aspect of my life at the age of twenty-three, I’d like to see what I’m working on, if I’m still studying sound engineering, and if I keep chasing my dream, or maybe if at that point I actually reached it. Honestly I wouldn’t like to stay there, because I feel like I have to live the process between those future images to acquire the experience, moments, and all the stuff that involves to work on...

My Dream Job

  My Dream Job   Well, this is something that I’ve mentioned in some of my blogs, but now I’m going to talk specifically about it. My dream job is to be a producer and singer, I want to be an artist. I know that this will be a hard goal to achieve, but I think “hey, this is what you want to make a live out of it. This is what you love” And the idea of me going through studios, scenarios, and concerts gives me energy to keep my focus on this dream. To be an artist you will need lots of skills, like learning skills, patience and dedication, in my opinion these are “key skills” to reach your goals in general. But now, talking about specific skills, I think that to be a producer and a singer I’ll need an advanced music theory knowledge and some singing practice too (because Auto-Tune can’t fix everything), but if these are things that I will need, I’ll do everything to learn them. The Best Concert

  Well, the best concert I’ve been to (and the only one) was last year on November, and it was the “Primavera Sound Festival” on Santiago, Chile. I think that this will be the best concert I’ll ever go, just for the main reason that I lived a Travis Scott’s performance in front of me. Travis Scott is my favorite artist ever. I’d been listening to him since his album “Rodeo” dropped on 2015, and I’m still listening to him, in fact, a few months ago he released his last album “Utopia”, and I think that it’s great! I love his whole music career, and his psychedelic style on music. Back to the concert experience, it was awesome! I remember before that day looking lots of videos of Travis Scott’s performances and getting so excited, because his concerts are well known for their gigantic energy, and that energy referring from Travis Scott himself to the fans too.   United States it's the country that I'd like to visit. This is because of the culture, the language, and the music industry. I guess that when people hears "United States", the first word that comes to their mind is "Freedom". But for me is “music”, because in USA there is lots of well-known artists like Drake, Travis Scott, Kanye West or Migos for example, and the quality of this artists and the productions behind their music is excellent in my opinion. Kanye West, Baby Keem, Travis Scott, Yung Lean and Drake In there I would like to hire a residential recording studio, I'd love to have that experience! What's better to make music with friends?
